What do you enjoy most about the music you produce?
What I enjoy most is creating a clear structure within techno while playing with unexpected elements and blending different subgenres. I love experimenting with sounds to build warm, sometimes melodic atmospheres that take listeners on a hypnotic journey, while still making them want to dance.
When experimenting, I often take the main sounds of my tracks and layer them across different channels, creating variations that harmonize with the rest. I enjoy playing with vocal elements that mimic synthesizers or percussion, and many of my ideas come from the hypnotic rhythms of certain genres, mixed with the melodic influence from my childhood, when I learned classical music on my Kawai X50-D keyboard.
I also try to imagine myself on the dancefloor while producing, paying attention to how the track makes me feel. That visualization often inspires me to tweak it in unexpected ways, and the track usually ends up completely different from how it started.

When do you feel most inspired to produce?
My inspiration depends a lot on my emotional state. I need to dedicate time to each project to give my best without getting frustrated with the outcome. Frustration is part of the process, but I always aim to create something that truly moves me and represents who I am.
When life gets hectic, I don’t usually sit down to produce, but I’m constantly listening to new music and exploring different genres to find inspiration in sounds or structures I can later use. I also take advantage of unexpected sparks of inspiration—a sound on the street, a natural effect, or even something from everyday life that could become a sample. That’s why I always keep my phone and voice notes handy, so I can capture ideas and come back to them later.
If your music could transport us to a specific place or moment, where would it take us?
Straight to the dancefloor. I like creating high-energy tracks that work at any point during the night but always take you into a deep trance. I often imagine how my music would sound in different settings—a club or a massive festival—and make sure it works equally well in both, creating feelings of euphoria, connection, and movement.

What emotion or message do you try to convey every time you finish a new production?
I try to convey what I feel when I listen to my favorite artists, both when producing and performing as a DJ. For me, a track or a set should take you on a journey: an intro, a climax leading into groove, a moment of introspection, and an explosive peak.
While I like my DJ sets to have simple structures, in production I enjoy challenging myself and exploring ideas, “to think outside the box”. For example, on my latest EP for Suraw, I worked with dissonance across various elements: percussion with unconventional rhythmic patterns, different harmonic scales that meet at certain points, and manipulated vocal elements to create new textures.
How do you envision the evolution of your sound and career in the coming years?
In terms of my sound, I’m always incorporating elements from new genres or from different eras of electronic music. Reinvention has always been a part of my evolution.
Regarding my career, I’m not necessarily aiming for the top, but I also don’t set limits. I want to keep sharing what I love, build a loyal audience, and, if possible, inspire other artists. I’d also love to do collaborations—something I haven’t done much yet due to time constraints—but I’m always open to projects that can enrich my music.
There’s always one open question for the artist to express themselves freely. If you could add anything, what would it be?
I want to encourage other artists to share their work and keep trying, because you never know who your music might reach. I also want to thank those who support underground artists—sometimes it’s hard to measure how much a word of encouragement or someone valuing your work can mean. And, of course, a special thanks to those who follow my journey closely, especially my other half in this beautiful project, Fusion, IvaNNa.
