How many years ago did you started playing techno?

We have been listening, practicing and enjoying Techno for almost our entire lives. As “Obscure Bros”, we’ve been in Techno and Hardtechno scene for more or less a year and a half. During this time, we have been exploring and learning about this musical genre that we are so passionate about.

What musical lines do you prefer to play?

We like to embrace various sub-genres within Techno, but our preferences lean towards dark and melodic Techno, as well as energetic Hardtechno. We love the mix of powerful beats with atmospheric elements and intriguing textures

Why did you choose to be a Techno DJ?

The choice to become Techno DJs was a combination of our passion for electronic music instilled from a very young age by our father “Aurelio” to whom we owe everything and everything we do in one part is a tribute to him since he is long gone and our admiration for iconic artists in the history of Techno. We were attracted by the energy and creative expression that Techno offers, and we wanted to share our own musical vision with the world.

What do you hope for the future of the music scene?

We hope that the music scene continues to evolve and grow, opening more spaces for diversity and experimentation. We would like to see a greater openness to new talents and a continued exploration of new forms of expression within Techno. Furthermore, we wish that the public continues to support and value electronic music in all its forms.

Who is your favorite DJ or reference inspiration?

We have several DJs who have inspired us throughout our career, such as Amelie Lens, Alignment, among others who have left a significant mark on the Techno scene, but above all, Essan, who has left a personal mark on our hearts. In addition, we feel influenced by iconic artists such as Richie Hawtin, Dj Rush and Dave Clarke, who have marked the history of the genre.

Do you have a favorite track?

IIt’s hard to pick a single favorite track, as there are so many amazing productions in the Techno world. However, one track that has always thrilled us is “Spastik” by Plastikman (Richie Hawtin). It’s a true Techno classic that never fails to captivate with its hypnotic beat and innovative character.

If we would have to choose any current Hardtechno track it would be “Close your eyes” by Alignment. We think it’s a real work of art.

If you want to add something else, what would it be?

We would like to emphasize the importance of the connection with the audience. For us, music is a universal language that transcends barriers and brings people together. We strive to transmit emotions and positive energy through our mixes, and we love to see people enjoying and dancing to our music. We are grateful to have the opportunity to share our passion for Techno with all those who follow and support us.
